Windows XP
Computer retailers are now allowed by Microsoft to sell Windows XP OEM-licenses until the 31st of May 2009.
Originally, Windows XP was only intended to be included with new systems until the 30th of January 2008, but a lot of mischief and protesting from the loyal XP-users has resulted in extending the classic operating system’s life a little longer.
Honestly, it took some time for us to get used to Vista, but when we got the OS warmed up, we really started loving it. Yes, it has a few flaws and it requires a bit of tweaking to get it running efficiently, but it’s definitely a powerful operating system. It must be said though, that on lower end rigs, Windows XP is still our preferred OS, as Vista can get annoying and sluggish if you don’t feed it sufficient amounts of hardware.
